Friday March 27th, 2026

9:00am - 1:00pm: Join fellow members and vendors for the 9th annual Sporting Clays shoot at Wings North, a short 10 minute drive from Hinkley. Chad and his team have firearms and ammunition available too.

1:00pm - 3:00pm: Bourbon tasting at Wings North. Try a variety of award winning bourbons, many made right here in Minnesota. If you have a favorite, bottles can be purchased on site. 

2:00pm - 3:00pm: Registration opens to ticketed guests. Raffles, games, and silent auction preview are all available. 

5:00pm - 6:45pm: Social hour, visit with vendors, start on your Passport Bingo Card. 

6:45pm: The Grand Buffet Feast will be served. 

8:00pm: Member and Live Auctions, Raffles begin. 

10:30pm: Live auction ends.

12:00am: Banquet Hall closes. 

Saturday March 28th, 2026

8:00am - 10:00am: Veteran's Breakfast

10:00am - 3:30pm: Seminars (See Schedule Below) and Games. Silent Auction Bidding begins. 

11:30am - 2:00pm: Sables Wine, Women, and Cheese event at the Winds Steakhouse. (This is a ticketed event with participants enjoying a structured wine event, sampling great wines and cheeses while winning great prizes.)

3:00pm: Banquet Hall opens to ticketed guests. 

3:00pm: Gentleman's Signature Drink Raffle Begins

4:30pm: Youth Raffle drawings take place in Banquet hall. Free to ALL youth!

5:00pm: - 6:45pm: Social Hour

6:45pm: The Grand Buffet Feast will be served. 

8:00pm: Member and Live Auctions, Raffles begin. 

10:30pm: Live auction ends. 

12:00am: Banquet Hall Closes

Please join us for informative seminars presented by a fine group of knowledgeable members and volunteers sharing their expertise, stories and valuable information!  

 

10:00am - 11:00am: Advanced Trophy Squirrel Hunting hosted by Brett Friesen and Tim Cyr

The 2025 Trophy Squirrel Hunting seminar, hosted by Squirrel Hunting International Trophy Team Charter Members Brett Friesen and Tim Cyr was the hit of the banquet last year. This new seminar will cover cutting edge, advanced squirrel hunting techniques and strategies with special focus on trophy squirrels. A bonus discussion will include how trophy squirrels are measured, and also the various divisions of squirrels eligible for scoring, both Free Range and Estate divisions.

 

11:30am – 12:30pm:Melissa Bachman Shares Her Story About Becoming The Host of Winchester Deadly Passion

Join Melissa in a discussion of her journey to become one of the most recognized and popular females in the outdoor industry. Host of Winchester Deadly Passion TV show since 2012, and a Minnesota native, Melissa is an inspiration to all hunters.

11:30am - 1:30pm: (Banquet Hall) Rifles, Cartridges and Optics and How To Use Them to Become a Better Hunter

Join Chapter President and competitive long range shooter Scott Olson along with industry experts Jason Gentz of Gentz Sporting  Arms, Brandon Boe of Gunwerks and Joe Cavallaro of Swarovski Optiks for a fun discussion about firearms, cartridges, optics and tips to become a better shooter and hunter. There has never been a better time to be a hunter and shooter!

 

12:30pm – 1:30pm:Trophy Care Before and After Your Hunt

Join Chapter Board Member Erik Bangasser in an informative discussion how to care for your trophy from the moment it hits the ground until the finished taxidermy is on the wall, its care and preservation for generations to come.

2:30pm – 3:30pm:Africa/International Travel: Know Before You Go

Join Danie van Jaarsveld from Western Cape Game and Lisa Gingerich-Olson, from Coppersmith/Hunting-Trophy. Com, and Ed and Cindy Schabert as together they discuss how to enjoy a safe and easy trip to South Africa, whether it is your first safari or your tenth. They will share advice on selecting the right outfitter, booking flights, packing your gear, firearms permits and getting your trophies home at the end of the safari! (It’s easier than you think!)
